It’s safe to say that 2018 has been a fantastic year for Penketh Group and as it comes to a close, we wanted to take a quick look back over some of the best highlights.
A brand new Spinningfields space for Oliver James
Oliver James wanted a workspace which would support productivity and collaboration so with a design brief from Simon Millington, we transformed the central Manchester office into something modern and inviting.

A fourth floor transformation for Pure Business Group
As part of their ambitious growth plans, we created a vibrant and inspiring workspace for Pure Business Group, including a welcome area, 20-person boardroom and 160-staff open plan office. We look forward to working with them again in the new year.

Supporting innovation and recruitment at Jaguar Land Rover
We’re proud to have supplied and fitted the furniture for Jaguar Land Rover’s new two-floor Manchester office. We curated an inventory of tech and furniture to help attract and retain the best industry talent.

Creative co-working at the MSP Tech Incubator
Working with an innovative design brief from the team at Space Invader, we were delighted to be selected to pick out the perfect products for the job – to create a creative and collaborative hub for aspiring young entrepreneurs.

Diverse workspaces at the UMIC Innovation Centre
The project included an impressive Atrium, Cafe and Creative Suite – all of which required the full fit out and furniture installation service. Each space was created with its own bespoke requirements and selection of products inspired by the latest industry trends.

While our Space Planners, Interior Designers and Project Managers have all been busy delivering our biggest projects yet, it certainly hasn’t been quiet back at HQ.
Here are some other fantastic things we’ve accomplished in 2018…
Ladies Day Celebration at our Manchester showroom
Back in summer, we invited movers and shakers from the commercial interior design industry to our showroom for an afternoon of glitz and glamour in honour of the Aintree Grand National.

Raising more money for more incredible charities
As a tight-knit team running a business built on family values, charity stays close to our hearts and this year we managed to raise over £2000 for multiple local charities.

The big STUDIO by Bene launch party
In September we partnered with Bene to celebrate the launch of its new STUDIO by Bene collection and help give the brand a presence up North. It was another great opportunity to invite architects, interior designers and clients down to our showroom to let them experience the latest product developments first hand.

Becoming a Mixology North 18 Finalist
We may not have clinched the Furniture Provider of the Year grand title this time round but it was an honour to be recognised so highly among so much incredible industry challenge and celebrate in style!
Find out why we made the final cut
Before we head off on our merry way for some well-earned R&R, let us first take this opportunity to once again say a massive thank you for helping make this year our best one yet.
We’ve gone from strength to strength but couldn’t have done it without our wonderful network of partners.
A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everybody here at Penketh Group – here’s to a brilliant 2019!
