Our involvement with this project extended to the competitive quoting of products via our network of partners and manufacturers, as well as offering strategic suggestions around which specific commercial furniture and integrated workplace technology we felt would achieve both the customer’s and the designer’s ambition for the space.
Following multiple visits to our Manchester showroom to see our work settings and recommended products in action, we were successful in putting forward a range of innovative and flexible products which we believe will help the customer remain flexible and adaptable going forward, future-proofing their working environment as it continues to evolve.
Steelcase‘s Bivi desking (pictured above) and Mediascape are perfect examples of this forward-thinking approach to furniture and tech. Bivi appealed as it’s a modular desk product which can be built on or reconfigured according to space or requirement – this might be to accommodate more staff as the company grows, for example. Mediascape was chosen for the project for how it enhances collaboration and idea-sharing among employees.
We also provided a range of furniture products for a canteen, private focus areas and a range of touchdown spaces which again, facilitate agile and collaborative working among staff. This combined a mixture of soft and hard seating, at a variety of heights and levels in order to ensure the workspace remains inclusive and diverse.
We are now in the quoting process for a secondary stage of the transformation and are thrilled to be supporting OBI once again in bringing their fantastic designs to life.
