After another busy month of fund-raising, we are delighted to be on target to hit the £8,000 we pledged to raise for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity at the start of 2016.
The charity is the only dedicated charity for patients and research at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and they do an incredible job. By supporting them, we can do our bit to help improve patient experience, fund vital research, the latest therapies and innovations in cancer treatment.
Throughout October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month – we ran a special offer each week which raised over £760.
Throughout the month, we promised to donate 50p to the charity for every diary and planner we sold, £1 for every special pink product and £1 for every tea and coffee beverage bundle purchased by our lovely customers. All orders over £50 were entered into a prize draw to win a Fortnum & Mason Halloween hamper packed with goodies in time for the spooky weekend. We were delighted that speciality retail and wholesale bakers Greenhalghs Bakery were our winners.
To end the week with a splash of pink, HQ took part in “Wear something Pink” for the day and did not disappoint!
To help us to hit our target, we also offer the service of collecting your empty printer toner cartridges which we can recycle to raise extra funds for Clatterbridge. Simply ask us for one of our cardboard toner collection bins and we will collect any empty cartridges when we deliver your next order – just email enquiries@penkethgroup.com
