This month we are proud to report that two of our girls Beth and Rachel completed the Scouse 5k with a few of their friends to raise money for our 2016 chosen charity Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
This was a serious challenge for the girls both physically and mentally, having never been seasoned runners. However, the girls didn’t let that stand in their way as they were brave and ready for the challenge, motivated by the great work carried out by the charity very close to their heart.
Sadly a few months ago they received news that one of their closest friends was diagnosed with Cancer and now faces a huge battle. As their friend is being treated at Clatterbridge, they personally wanted to help raise money to support her and the rest of the patients.
We are very proud of their dedication and achievement and especially of the money they have raised for such a deserving charity. Their efforts have added a further £280 towards our 8k target and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated so generously to the charity via the company’s Just Giving page.
