To kick start our support for our 2016 chosen charity, Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, our office took part in ‘Wear a Wig Day’ and the wigs were unbeweavble!
Why wigs you ask? Why not hats or face paint? Well it’s because we are trying to raise awareness of how the effects of cancer treatment can cause hair loss for cancer patients. This can be very distressing, so the charity aim to provide wigs for patients so that it is one less worry for them.
We got our wigs on and pulled out all the stops for the event and managed to raise £165 which has been added to our charity pot! With more events planned throughout the year, we are excited to get stuck in to support Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
