This month we are happy to announce that we are celebrating an incredible 40 years in business.
We started the business in 1976 and since then we have come on leaps and bounds. Founded by Walter and Dorothy Penketh, the company was originally based in Hamilton Square, Birkenhead. The early business offered a photocopying service however this quickly branched out into stationery, office furniture and print.
After 20 years working to build the Penketh’s family business, Walter and Dorothy retired. The retirement was marked with a huge celebration of the company’s success and the reins were handed over to the next generation Mark, Simon and Andy. With the support of their Co-Directors and Senior Management team, the third generation of the Penketh family, Chris, Greg and Adam are working within the business to build on the success of the previous generations.

Along with our head office in Merseyside, we have invested in a new ‘Worklife’ showroom in Manchester city centre, as part of our vision to grow the office furniture side of our business. We are also partnered with the prestigious US-based company Steelcase and offer their world class office furniture, insights and knowledge into the world of work for the North West.
