As you might remember from our 2018 best bits and most impressive projects blog post, last year was a fabulous year for us. We built new partnerships, won some of our biggest projects yet and were shortlisted Best Furniture Provider in the Mixology North18 Awards.
The manufacturers, contractors and clients we work with were instrumental in this success but one thing we certainly couldn’t succeed without is our people.
We believe the people that belong to any business are key, which is why we like to take every opportunity we can to celebrate ours.
Drum roll please, for the 8th annual Penketh Group staff awards…
As is customary, the night kickstarted with a competitive game of Heads or Tails and a race to the top for the title of Quiz Winners – well done Table 5!
There was plenty of drinking, plenty of dancing and plenty of whoop whoop-ing as we reflected on a year of fantastic achievements both as a company and as a team of hardworking individuals.
We looked back over the decades as we recognised some more longstanding service awards and gave our newcomers their first experience of Gordon’s dodgy dance moves, Lesley’s impressive pipes and what it means to be a part of the Penketh Group family.

A massive congratulations to the winners of Office Spirit, Office Person of the Year, Sales Person of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Warehouse Person of the Year, Above the Call of Duty and the Directors Award for Excellence.
Oh and a special shout out to outfit of the evening which definitely has to go to our resident IT whizz, Martin…
