A brand new furniture fit out scheme for GE Oil & Gas

Penketh Group have successfully completed the installation of new furniture for GE Oil & Gas’s new Regional Office in Skelmersdale. Penketh Group were awarded the project following a tender exercise back in March, and our furniture team were excited to work in collaboration with the Project Architect to present products that matched the specified design, price and quality.

Our team presented Bench Desking solutions which maximised the use of available space, and also provided future flexibility as the number of staff in the building increases. Quality was an important factor, they required ergonomic chairs that would promote good posture, comfort & movement for workers. Our Task Chair was one of the many chairs trialled by staff in their office, and was voted overwhelmingly as a favourite amongst workers.

Collaborative and break out areas were an area of high priority for GE Oil & Gas, and we presented options that would provide a quiet haven away from the hustle of the open plan office, whilst looking visually appealing.

GE Oil & Gas were impressed with the initial options developed by our team and they were keen to visit our showroom for a more detailed look at the products. After several weeks of consultation, we were given the green light to progress with the project, which was successfully completed last month.
